ईरान — एक ख़्वाब, एक ख़ुशबू

जब भी ईरान को तस्वीरों में देखा, लगा कोई ख़्वाब हो — रंगों का ख़्वाब। नीले गुम्बद, फ़िरोज़ी टाइलें, गुलज़ार सी मस्जिद, मिट्टी में गुलाब। बाज़ार जैसे कश्मीर के क़ालीन, रंगों में लिपटे हर राह ओ मआब, मीनारों की चुप में सदा जैसे यादें सुनाती हों कोई किताब। ईरान से आया संतूर का नग़्मा, धड़कन में घुला कोई दर्द का साज़, “जानम”, “नाज़नीन”, “बेख़ुदी” की रिमझिम, हर जज़्बा जैसे हो ईरानी राज़। ये सरहदों का क़ैदी नहीं, ये दिल्ली की चाय की प्याली में है। लखनऊ की रक़ाबी, हैदराबाद की शेरवानी, बनारस के पानदान की ख़ुशबू में है। ये हमारी बोली में है, दाल-रोटी, लोरी, और अल्फ़ाज़ में। “अफ़सोस”, “आराम”, “उम्मीद” बन कर, रहता है रोज़-ओ-शब की आवाज़ में। ईरान से आए वो सूफ़ी बुज़ुर्ग, जिन्होंने ग़म को इबादत कहा। जिन्होंने इश्क़ को सजदा बनाया, जिनके सांसों में ज़ौक़-ए-वफ़ा। ईरान कोई मुल्क नहीं है, जीने का एक सलीक़ा है। दुख को क़रार से सहने का, और ख़ुशी को ख़ामोशी से बाँटने का तरीक़ा है। जब ईरान ज़ख़्मी होता है, लगता है जैसे अपने ही आँगन में आग लगी हो। जैसे बुज़ुर्गों की क़ब्र पर पत्थर गिरे हों, दिल की महराबों में...
